Sorry guys! I broke my laptop a few days ago and haven’t been able to access any of the information/submissions. The release of the zine’s going to be a bit delayed.

It’s well past the 29th and I’m sure you’re all wondering what’s going on.

I received around 10 submissions, which is quite a lot, considering how much you’ve all written! I’ve only made it to read about half of them, so that’s what I’m working on. That and writing my own pieces, of course.

I went to see my college’s counselor yesterday and slipped in the fact that I’m asexual (second person I’ve told! woo) and he kind of reacted with the “are you medically ok” bit, but I told him about the zine and he wants to read it. He also wants me to put together a pamphlet to be put on display in our wellness center! Totally cool, right?

Anyways, if this zine isn’t done within the next two weeks, kick me or something, ok.

Anonymous asked: If I want a copy but have no way to pay you online, what should I do? And how should I go about requesting a copy? Also, what sort of trades are acceptable? Something sent through the physical mail system? Something created on a computer (like art)?

You can mail me the money (one dollar - stamps are expensive), but keep in mind that I didn’t make this zine to make money. I did it for me. I did it for you. As for trades, I’ll accept anything. Really. A zine you wrote, anything you’ve made, anything you don’t want. I like things all of sorts.

I’m printing it out so I can hand it out to people in-person and for mailing to certain people, as well. Personally, I’d rather a physical copy.

In an envelope. And no, it will not have any mention of aceness on the front of the envelope.. I wouldn’t out myself to every postal worker at my college in such a fashion ;)

Okay, so I heard you were taking submissions for the magazine

I know it’s not of much use to you, but I’d really like to thank you for trying to raise awareness. Fifty percent of the time I get the “you’re just going through a phase” / “you haven’t met the right person yet” response and the other half I get people thanking God that I won’t be passing my genes on because I’m defective for not wanting a sexual relationship (this is not an exaggeration).

So really, thank you. This means a lot.
